I started my career as a cosmetic retail artist for various companies. On my spare time I would network with photographers, entertainment groups, brands and models to collaborate on projects to gain on the job experience. I enrolled in a college program that certified me in beauty, stage, airbrush and special fx makeup. I then took my career as an artist to the next level by becoming a licensed cosmetologist and getting the technical skills I needed for the hair industry to go along with my makeup training. I love all aspects of the makeup and hair industry from fashion - special FX and all in between. I continued to work in Retail cosmetics full time while presuing my freelance carre on the side for a few years. It was not until 2013 I decided I would quit my day job and work 100% freelance for myself, a scary decision you can imagine, but the best of my career yet. These days I find myself keeping busy with a variety of work: in-salon, weddings (lot's of weddings), commercial, editorial, events, web content and leading my team of independent artists. Not to mention I have a beautiful family, my husband James and two amazing children Elijah + Violet!

I am happy to say I am living out my dreams daily! New exciting chapters of my business continue to unfold and I have not stopped dreaming, I am always looking forward to what the future holds while enjoying the present.
